Visiting any church for the first time can be an intimidating experience.

We want you to feel welcome and “at home” at Pekin First.

We offer 4 opportunities for worship each weekend, each with its own unique style.
Our Saturday evening worship (5:00 pm) is approximately 45 minutes and includes traditional hymns with piano accompaniment.
Sunday morning 8:15 am worship is traditional in style and features classic hymns, soaring organ and choir music to enhance the experience.  This service lasts about an hour.
The 10:30 am Sunday service is contemporary in style and is led by our Praise Band.  It is high energy and includes guitars, drums, keyboard, and bass.  This service lasts about an hour.
After Phase 4 we will also offer a worship service at Pekin Estates every Sunday at 1:00 pm in the activity room.  Each week,  we have Ellen Curtain as our organist and a special worship leader.

Our Sunday morning service is live-streamed to Facebook and our YouTube channel.

There are two entrances accessible from the parking lot located on the west side of the building.  The entrance closest to the hospital is handicap accessible with an elevator.  Greeters will be at each entrance to point you in the right direction, and answer any questions you might have.

Come As You Are

Dress however you like. Saturday evening most people come casual, and Sunday morning at Pekin First you will see many people in blue jeans and some people in suits.

Bring the Kids

After Phase 4-Children are welcome in worship. Nursery care is also provided on Sundays for infants through age 4.

After phase 4-Coffee and donuts are provided in the dining room (basement) Sundays at 9:15 am.
